When I was in school, I had a bad case of perfectionism: couldn't get things done unless they were perfect. Which really cut down on my productivity.

In college (a highly selective one, actually), my daughter picked up a different idea: sometimes, you have to say, "done is better than good."

About the internet in hotels... My hypothesis is that the expensive hotels cater mainly to business travelers who just put the $10 charge on their expense accounts and don't think much about it.
